ATT Expands Virginia Plant

 In Uncategorized

American Turbocharger Technologies LLC (ATT), a subsidiary of A. Stucki Company, recently completed expansion of its operation by adding a new 7,500-square-foot building, which adds to the 20,000-plus square feet ATT already occupies to refurbish power-boosting turbochargers, primarily for railroad locomotives but also for marine and industrial applications.

ATT specializes in turbocharger remanufacturing and diesel engine repair services. Based in Newport News, Va., ATT serves operators of marine, locomotive and stationary diesel engines with services for Alco, Elliott, EMD and General Electric diesel engine turbochargers.

Established in 1911, A. Stucki Company is a provider of engineered components, systems and services for freight cars and locomotives.

“The additional space has enabled us to support an upswing in business and add our own machining capabilities,” said Bob Kappesser, Principal at ATT. “This strengthens our capabilities as a critical supplier to our customers.”
